On Thursday, February 19, Gallery Director Sarah Foltz will present “Ties that Bind: Contemporary Texas Painting” as the Salon Series program. This engaging discussion will trace common elements of Texas painting from the latter half of the twentieth century through the present, looking to the influence on Contemporary Texas Regionalist artists by artists from the 1950s and will discuss how their work continues to address local subject matter to evoke universal chords. Tickets for this presentation are $20 and may be purchased at the door.
Turner House and Reaves will host a gallery reception on Friday, February 20, with some artists in attendance, and a gallery talk on Saturday, February 21.
Turner House is located at 401 N. Rosemont (Dallas 75208).
