Old Red Museum presents Dream No Small Dreams: How Erik Jonsson Led Dallas from Tragedy to Triumph in the 1960s panel discussions

Old Red Museum will also host hour-long panel discussions to assess the legacy of Erik Jonsson and Dallas in the 1960s. Each panel will feature a moderator who will visit with two or more individuals who knew and worked with Jonsson or who have continued his work in a particular area, allowing them to assess his legacy, or who were involved in some aspect of life in Dallas in the 1960s (sports, entertainment, retailing), either as a participant or a reporter.

Saturday, November 16: “Jonsson Takes Charge: November 1963 - January 1964" - Moderator: Darwin Payne, Panelists: Pierce Allman and Julian Reed

Saturday, November 23: “Jonsson’s Visionary Leadership as Mayor of Dallas: 1964 – 1971” - Moderator: Michael V. Hazel, Panelists: Anita Martinez, George Schrader, Henry Tatum

Saturday, November 30: “Dallas in the 1960s” - Moderator: Darwin Payne, Panelists: Carolyn Barta, Val Imm Bashour, Tony Briggle
