One Day University and The Dallas Morning News have partnered for a fascinating day of learning. Our adult "students-for-a-day" will choose the four presentations they want to attend from the list of classes and professors below. You can choose the classes you want to take the day of the event. Classes will take place at both Winspear Opera House and Dallas City Performance Hall.

9:30 am: National Security vs. Freedom of Expression - Stephen Whitfield/Brandeis University or Men, Women, And Politics (A World Of Difference) - Jennifer Lawless/American University

11:05 am: Is the American Dream still alive - in Texas and the rest of the nation? - Wendy Schiller/Brown University or Machiavelli and the Laws of Power: How One Man Changed the World 500 Years Ago - Christopher Celenza/Johns Hopkins

1:40 pm: When Intuition Fails: Why We're Often Wrong When We Think We're Right - Christopher Chabris/Union College or The Five Most Powerful People in the World - William Burke-White/U Penn

3:15 pm: Powerful Memory Secrets - Peter Vishton/College of William and Mary or Rhapsody in Blue: Gershwin's Remarkable Masterpiece - Orin Grossman/Fairfield University
