The Orchestra of Spain’s new season will begin with La Convivencia III: Music & Poetry of Medieval Spain’s Christians, Muslims & Sephardi. This will be a series of concerts inspired by the current need for cultural tolerance, a reminder of a time when the three cultures lived together in relative peace enjoying the riches of shared artistic expression. The concert will featur Michelle Alany, Jamal Mohamed and soloists of the Orchestra.
The September 26 concert will take place at Thanksgiving Square (admission is free). The September 27 concert will take place at Zion Lutheran Church ($25/10 student ticket with ID). The September 28 concert will take place at Fretz Park Library (admission is free).
