The Orchestra of New Spain opens its 2013-14 season with The Latin-Baroque Fusion Ensemble RUMBARROCO, playing Latin American and Spanish music from the Renaissance on, highlighting Iberoamerica's African and indigenous roots. There will be music from Venezuela, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Portugal and Argentina, and songs, dances, joropos, plenas, tangos, and villancicos.
