A number of Dallas’ leading culinary talents and food lovers will come together at Paul Quinn College’s A Community Cooks event to celebrate the WE Over Me Farm— a student-run, two-acre, organic farm located on the school’s former football field. A Community Cooks helps raise resources to help expand the WE Over Me Farm’s ability to fight the food desert conditions of the community surrounding Paul Quinn College.
The sixth annual event will feature a custom menu that incorporates seasonal vegetables directly from the WE Over Me Farm. Along with a deliciously unique culinary experience, attendees will also enjoy live music, wine, beer, garden-inspired cocktails and an opportunity to learn more about the farm.
This year will be particularly special as the event will serve as the prelude dinner to a spectacular performance by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. The line up of premier chefs includes:
- Blythe Beck, Pink Magnolia
- Kristen Brewer, Victor Tangos
- Jeremy Davis, Legends Hospitality – Toyota Stadium
- Estevan Galindo, Hattie’s
- Chad Houser, Café Momentum
- Uno Immanivong, Chino Chinatown
- Nicholas Ocando, Hibiscus
- Anastacia Quinones, Independent
- Patton Robertson, Independent
- Tony Sinese, Legends Hospitality – AT&T Stadium
- Jon Stevens, Stock & Barrel
- Scott Tobey, Origin Kitchen + Bar
- Mark Wooton, Garden Café
