The Pecos River Brass Big Band will pay tribute to jazz legend Woody Herman on what would have have been his 100th birthday. Herman’s legacy served as a major influence to innumerable artists, including Pecos River Brass Big Band leader John C. Smith. The concert will also feature special guest trombonist Phil Wilson, one of the last surviving members of Woody Herman's band, the Herd.
