Pegasus Contemporary Ballet will present Suite, a site-specific and engaging evening of performance that brings together paint, music and dance.
Guests will get to enjoy wine and light bites while browsing the current exhibitions at Samuel Lynne Galleries as a dance performance is presented in different spaces in the gallery throughout the course of the evening. The gallery brings Bruce McCormick to Dallas for the first time as a visiting artist to choreograph this collaborative work with live violist accompaniment by Liesl-Ann DeVilliers. In further collaboration between dance and visual art, the dancers will be wearing costumes painted by JD Miller, bringing the canvas off of the wall and onto the moving human form.
VIP tickets include a pre-show talk and Q&A with Bruce McCormick, JD Miller and Artistic Director Diana Crowder.
