Take Flight, the classic short story by O. Henry, will be told through contemporary ballet and music, with choreography by Artistic Director Diana Crowder and a commissioned original score by Dallas musician Martin Morgan.
Also on the program, Pegasus Contemporary Ballet and Verdigris Ensemble are joining forces for a presentation of live choral music and dance. Verdigris Ensemble will perform four original compositions from the winners of the 2019 and 2021 ION composer competition. These compositions will be performed with a world premiere choreographic work entitled Hope Is The Thing by Artistic Associate Carrie Ruth Trumbo.
