At First Thursday Late Night: Space, you can hear about the final frontier from three-time NASA astronaut Dr. Ed Lu (who lived six months on the International Space Station) and Apollo 9 astronaut Rusty Schweickart.

Both asteroid experts, Dr. Lu and Rusty Schweickart are leading the Sentinel Mission, a privately-funded space mission that will set out to identify Near Earth Objects (NEOs) that might pose a threat to Earth.

Tickets must be reserved in advance. There will also be other space-themed exploratory activities throughout the museum.
