Persephone uses modern dance and shadow work to tell the story of Persephone being taken from her mother Demeter to Hades in the underworld. As the tensions flair between the rulers of these two realms, Persephone must make a difficult choice in order to save the fabric of reality: her newfound love and power in the underworld; or the comforting embrace of her mother and family.
On Persephone’s opening night PrismCo will be collaborating with House Party Theatre to throw a Halloween after party featuring live bands, a costume contest, and a special performance by House Party Theatre themselves.
