Purity Ring is one of those ironically-named bands, since band members Corin Roddick and Megan James are far from music virgins or, knowing rock-and-rollers, the other kind either. They released their debut album Shrines this past summer, drawing equally from R&B, pop and hip hop. New York band Young Magic will serve as opener.
