Dallas Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen and some of his friends from the Dallas Stars will be on hand as Players and Pets presents Blackout Goes Green to benefit East Dallas Pet Rescue and the Dallas Stars Foundation.
Lehtonen and his friends from the Stars, along with local news personalities, will walk animals up for adoption from East Dallas Pet Rescue in their own "pet" fashions. This event is not only to raise funds for these charities involved, but to help promote the national cause of “blacking” out animal neglect and homelessness.
A small donation of $20 at the door or a minimum of $20 pet gift cards or in pet supplies is suggested.
