Rainbow Days presents 26th Annual Pot of Gold Luncheon, celebrating Rainbow Days’ 41 years of service. The event will include a silent auction and remarks from keynote speaker Coach Ken Carter, whose story of accountability, integrity and leadership mirrors the mission of Rainbow Days.
Celebrated author, philanthropist and powerhouse speaker Coach Ken Carter is best known for being the inspiration behind the 2005 movie, Coach Carter, based on him making headlines for suspending his undefeated basketball team due to poor academic performance. Coach Carter promotes the importance of education and mentorship and works to enable disadvantaged youth to reach their full academic and life potential.
Shannon Murray, an anchor and reporter for Good Day on Fox 4 News, will serve as the emcee.
All proceeds from the event will benefit children and families served by Rainbow Days.
