The Reunion Lawn Party Summer Series features live music, food trucks, lawn games, and special Lawn Takeovers by Dallas pro sports teams.
A family-friendly event uniting the community, the Reunion Lawn Party will feature three local cover bands to keep the city rocking all summer long. The High Definition Band will kick-off the series in June, July’s tunes will be provided by Special Edition Band and the series will wrap in August with Petty Theft, a cover band featuring Mike Rhyner of Dallas’ “The Ticket.”
Adding to the outdoor backyard vibes, Lawn Party attendees can enjoy local fare from 15 of Dallas’ most popular food trucks, including Ruthie’s Rolling Café, Parrot Icce, Butcher’s Son, and What’s Da Scoop. Amy Vanderoef will serve as the 2017 series emcee, accompanied by special surprise celeb guests who will create customized playlists for the evening.
Attendees will have an opportunity to purchase beverages from a wide selection of domestic and imported beers and wines. The Beer Garden host, Nodding Donkey, will pour the frosty brews all summer long. Lawn games like bean bag toss, Frisbee, and horseshoes will be available for free rental during the lawn parties.
FC Dallas will kick off the June lawn takeover, Dallas Stars will takeover the lawn in July, and the Dallas Mavericks will be back for a third year, taking over the lawn in August.
