RIFF Dallas presents TAPN2TAP, the only tap concert that brings the best of tap dancing to the feet of Dallas. This live tap show will feature Chloe Arnold of Syncopated Ladies and So You Think You Can Dance; Sarah Reich of Post Modern Jukebox; Max Pollak, international rumba and body percussionist; Derick Grant, from broadway’s Bring In Da Noise Bring In Da Funk; Charles Renato, international tap artist; and professional touring tap artists Tony Merriwether, Matt Shields, and Justin Lewis. Award-winning Lady Dianne Walker, of Broadway, television and film, will also make a special appearance during the concert.
This concert will also host youth and professional tap ensembles from Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New Jersey, and DC. Along with this endless list of tap dancers, there will also be live music provided by the RIFF Jazz Band and local singers.
TAPN2TAP will showcase and honor traditions of the past of tap dancing, while giving the audience a taste of what is and what is to come of this great American art.
