Crafted of gingerbread and requiring more than 48 chef-hours to bake, ice and assemble, The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas Frozen Winter Wonderland Castle will be made with approximately 180 pounds of powdered sugar, 110 pounds of fondant, 60 pounds of egg whites, 15 pounds of butter and more. The unveiling of the culinary masterpiece comes with refreshments of hot cider and gingerbread cookies for those in attendance.
The John Horn High School Girls’ Choir and a French horn quartet from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra will present live performances during the celebration, and Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be on hand for photo ops.
