Ro2 Art Gallery will present "Spangled," a solo exhibition featuring new works by artist Alexander Revier. Revier’s second solo show at Ro2 Art focuses predominantly on color and form, saturating the entire picture plane with a miscellany of elements.
Drawing upon his experience growing up as a second-generation German immigrant living in Irving, absorbing the influences and language of the diverse cultural makeup, Revier is interested in how visual art exists as a universal language. Spangled becomes a metaphor for diversity as the artist amalgamates and mingles unexpected elements, color and design together in a lively maximalist assemblage.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on view through August 19.
