Ro2 Art Gallery will present "Garden of Earthly Delights," a solo exhibition featuring new works by artist Carroll Swenson-Roberts.
In Swenson-Roberts first solo exhibition at Ro2 Art, the artist creates interior landscapes, private spaces where one’s inner life has the capacity to flourish. Incorporating her own personal and curated symbols in smaller works, Swenson-Roberts positions these objects within the context of the natural world, signifying the relationship between her interior self and the outer world. The included works in "Garden of Earthly Delights," developed in a span of over 30 years, display a long term history of the artists reflections on the inner vs. the outer and the joy of ordinary life constructed into personal narratives.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on view through May 25.
