Animal Rescue of Texas (ART) is going to let the fur fly with Rock N’ Roll Rover, a rock show and art auction to raise money to fund the rescue group’s annual operating expenses. Honorary event chairs are WFAA-TV Channel 8’s Mike Castellucci and his wife, Jolie, the proud parents of three rescue beagles.
Fort Worth indie rockers, Calhoun, will headline; Dallas all-girl band, Lovie will reunite for the first time in over a year; Zounds’ Sounds East Dallas Music Collective will play a KISS cover set; and DJ Josh Hammertimez will be on the ones and twos for this very special event.
Fine art up for auction will include photography from Manny Rodriguez, a painting from Jennifer Morgan, a signed Neiman Marcus 100th anniversary pop-up book from Geof Kern, silver skull spoons from Pinky Diablo, a painting from Russell Hagg and much more.
