Rockwall Summer Musicals presents The Music Man

eventdetail

In this beloved family show, Professor Harold Hill shakes up a quiet Midwest town by posing as a band leader and selling instruments to naive Iowa townsfolk. The con artist is no musician and plans to skip town without making good on the music lessons that he’s been paid for. Prim piano teacher Marian sees right through him, but when Harold helps her younger brother overcome his lisp and social awkwardness, Marian begins to fall for him. Will Harold risk everything to be with her?

The Broadway sensation, which won five Tony awards and ran for 1,375 performances, features classic songs such as “76 Trombones," "The Wells Fargo Wagon,” and “Gary, Indiana.”
