The local DFW chapter of Room to Read and Lakewood Brewing Co. will celebrate Literacy Month and Oktoberfest with this charitable event, which will include special brews available for tasting, a tour of the brewery, food and live music. Proceeds from the event will help promote literacy with local children through Read-a-thon school programs in Dallas-Fort Worth, as well as provide much needed books for children in Asia and Africa.
