Room to Read’s global literacy program has impacted more than 9 million children around the world. By partnering with over 18,000 schools, Room to Read seeks to transform the lives of millions of children in developing countries by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education. Working in collaboration with local communities, partner organizations and governments, we develop literacy skills and a habit of reading among primary school children, and support girls to complete secondary school with the relevant life skills to succeed in school and beyond.
This event will feature the Founder of Room to Read, John Wood. Guests will enjoy music, wine and hors d’oeuvres, a silent and live auction, and a chance to enjoy an evening at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek with a chance to make a difference in the lives of children.
All proceeds go to Room to Read to support literacy and girls’ education.
