Surviving Grace is a comedy about Alzheimer's. While comedy and Alzheimer's are two words that most people wouldn't think of pairing in the same sentence, this play shows us how, even in the saddest of circumstances and though it may not heal a physical illness, humor can heal the soul.

At first glance, the Griswalds seem like a typical middle-class family coping with their mother's illness. Given the opportunity to try an experimental treatment for Alzheimer’s patients, Grace rallies in what at first promises a second chance, as she and her daughter confront old age with laughter and courage.
