Dallas-based photographer Brent Baxter of Brent Baxter Photography will appear at The Rustic in support of the release of his book, #BestBeardsInDallas, celebrating Dallas’ best beards and the men behind them. Featuring more than 20 intimate documentary-style photographs of men across Dallas-Fort Worth, Baxter offers perspective into each man’s everyday life in #BestBeardsInDallas.
To celebrate the release of the coffee table book, Baxter is hosting a free music showcase and party where attendees can purchase the book, enjoy live music by local acts Quaker City Nighthawks and Loyal Sally, and participate in a beard contest where Baxter will crown the #BestBeardInDallas to win a coveted trophy and deluxe man grooming kit.
A portion of proceeds from book sales will benefit the Movember Foundation, an organization committed to helping men live happier, healthier, longer lives by funding more than 1,000 programs focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.
