Great music and fine wine distinguish the semi-annual Cabaret & Cabernet event presented by the Sammons Center for the Arts. The event begins with a wine tasting, followed by a showcase of some of the DFW area's most talented cabaret artists.

Joining Tracy Fulton as emcee are two Sammons Cabaret Artists of the Year, Denise Lee (2013) and Linda Petty (2014). Denise and Linda, along with ten other vocalists, will each perform a selection from the Great American Songbook, a Broadway show, ballad or torch song, accompanied by the Larry Petty Combo. The lineup includes Teddy and Lorena Davey, Jay Gardner, WT Greer, Sheran Goodspeed Keyton, Keron Jackson, LaLa Johnson, Carolyn Lee Jones, Shelley Kenneavy, Pam Musgrove, and Diana Savage.

All guests receive valet parking, wine and other beverages, appetizers, and the showcase.

The event benefits the Snyder Family Series of Sammons Cabaret, a unique combination of theater and music introduced in February 2012 as an adjunct to the Sammons Center’s acclaimed jazz series. Cabaret is held in the intimate setting of Kurth Hall at the Sammons Center on the third Thursday of each month, February through May and September through December.
