The Recovery Room: A Virtual D’JAM Concert will be livestreamed on Facebook, featuring Jazz Becuzz and the Stockton Helbing Trio.

Sammons Jazz Artistic Director Arlington Jones will emcee the concert, which borrowed the name of the legendary Recovery Room jazz club to celebrate the resiliency and history of the North Texas jazz community despite the COVID-19 pandemic. The concert is highlighted by the public display of three oil paintings by the late Walter Winn, a renowned Dallas jazz musician and visual artist. The paintings of Charlie Parker, Miles Davis and John Coltrane were donated to the Sammons Center by the family of Recovery Room owner Bill Donnelly after his passing this past May.
