Samuel Lynne Galleries will present the opening reception for Brandon Boyd’s exhibition, “OptiMystic.” A Los Angeles native, Boyd is famously recognized as the vocalist and frontman of Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum selling rock band, Incubus.
In the early 2000s each band member began to individually explore creative avenues outside of the band - art, film, and literature – allowing Boyd to discover his natural talent as a painter. His work as a singer- songwriter is well-documented and universally acclaimed, but his other life’s work as a visual artist is garnering increasing attention and devoted audiences of its own.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on view through June 2.
