"I Like Making Faces" is a solo exhibition of figurative works by artist Sheila Leatherwood. Her stylized, modern portraits are a mixture of both real and imagined people. Leatherwood’s use of layers of bright colors , combined with collage, her favorite medium, showcase her whimsical style. Her portraits are expressive and tell their stories in an intuitive way, hopefully evoking a smile from the viewer.
