Scardello Artisan Cheese has adapted their classes to an online format, hosted live by head cheese mongers, that participants can take in their own home.
Virtual Class Schedule
- September 3: Charcuterie and Cheese - Whether you prefer salami, prosciutto, or pate, this class will talk about how they are made and match them up with handmade cheese. There will be some optional wine pairings as well.
- September 4: Italian Wine and Cheese - This class will feature loads of Italian goodies from robiolas to the undisputed "King of Cheese." There will be some optional wine pairings as well.
- September 11: Insane Cheese Pairings Vol. 2 - This class will get a little wild, picking unusual, and maybe even crazy pairings. There will be some optional wine pairings as well.
- September 17: The Blues - In this class, participants will taste examples from mild to strong, creamy to crumbly, and one or two that feel like a good old fashioned kick in the teeth. There will be some optional wine pairings as well.
- September 18: Deep Dive: Cow’s Milk - Cow's milk cheeses are the most popular in the U.S., but within the broad category of cow's milk cheese, there are so many interesting examples. There will be some optional wine pairings as well.
- September 24: Soft & Gooey - Participants will taste a host of soft cheeses and talk about how they are made. There will be some optional wine pairings as well.
