Sci-Tech Discovery Center presents Countdown to Noon: New Year's Eve Party

Sci-Tech Discovery Center is mixing science with play this New Year’s Eve with Countdown to Noon. The event will be jam-packed with interactive science activities as Sci-Tech and little scientists prepare to celebrate 2020.

Activities include explosive stage shows educating guests about combustion, liquid nitrogen, chemistry and air pressure; hands-on science experiments; face painting and balloon twisting; coding, maker challenges and two massive balloon drops.

Microsoft will be on-site to do robotics activities and create holiday figures using FreshPaint and Paint 3D. EGM Robotics will be on hand to demonstrate their team robot. iCream will demonstrate and hand out their liquid nitrogen ice cream. CodeStream will run mini workshops on how to make an app or Snapchat filter.
