Frisco’s Sci-Tech Discovery Center will commemorate the “Moonaversary,” the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing, with a party featuring special activities. Visitors can visit the Star Lab planetarium, watch fire shows that explore all aspects of combustion, participate in tabletop activities that show the science of getting to and living in outer space, watch demonstrations in the Maker Space, explore a geodome made by Sci-Tech Discovery Center campers in fifth through eighth grades, view demonstrations and activities in the museum’s temporary exhibit, “Great Balls of Fire,” take a a fun photo-op, and more.
