The 2nd annual Red River Celebrity Softball Game, presented by Sewell, returns to Frisco two days before Texas and OU clash in the Cotton Bowl.

Singer/songwriter Toby Keith, Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee and ACM's Poet Award honoree, will lead the Oklahoma team. 11-time MLB All-Star and two-time World Series champion Roger Clemens will captain Texas. This year’s game splits the net proceeds equally between The Toby Keith Foundation and The Roger Clemens Foundation.

The Oklahoma contingent features a pair of Heisman Trophy winners in Billy Sims and Jason White, along 2000 BCS National champions Roy Williams and Mark Clayton, and two-time consensus All-American Brian “The Boz” Bosworth. Barry Switzer, who led the Sooners to three national titles and also won Super Bowl XXX as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, will serve as the bench coach.

Clemens headlines a roster full of Texas legends that includes Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey, current college football commentator and former head coach Mack Brown, 2005 BCS National champion and Offensive MVP Vince Young, Super Bowl XLV champion Jermichael Finley, 2003 Cotton Bowl MVP Roy Williams, and 1998 Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams.

The evening also includes an exhibition game between 2018 Nightmare/Miken, a professional softball team, and the RRCSG All-Veteran Team comprised of decorated former U.S. military personnel. CoServ Electric will donate $10,000 to the Lone Survivor Foundation in recognition of the sacrifices and contributions of the participating veterans.
