Baylor Sammons Cancer Center at Dallas will host a vigil locally as part of a global campaign to raise awareness about lung cancer and reduce the stigma associated with the disease. Dallas will join 125 communities across the country in hosting a Shine a Light on Lung Cancer Vigil in partnership with Lung Cancer Alliance (LCA). Through personal stories from survivors, updates from local healthcare professionals on advances for survival and a unifying call to action, these hosted vigils continue to add to the positive dialogue about this disease.

The lighting of the glow sticks to honor survivors and loved ones is the highlight of the evening.
