ShySpeaks Civilized Drive-In Concert & Conversation

Artists ShySpeaks, Dee-1, and community leaders will present the Civilized Drive In Concert and Conversation. This socially distanced drive-in event will feature live music as well as a panel conversation with community leaders to discuss social shifts, unrest, reformation, and restoration.

The concert is co-headlined by award-winning Louisiana-based rapper, Dee-1. Dee-1 burst onto the national scene with the mixtape I Hope They Hear Me Vol. 2, which featured the popular single “Jay, 50, Weezy.”

Bishop Omar Jahwar of Urban Specialist will be curating the conversation portion of the event.

Portions of the proceeds will support grassroots organizations in Dallas-Fort Worth that are focused on creating a more equitable and just community.
