SITE131 will present Profs’ Picks: University of Texas at Dallas Graduate Students, featuring seven students in UTD's graduate program. The highly narrative exhibition organized by artist/professor John Pomara and assisted by his colleagues, includes teacher-selected artists like Catalina Alzateby, Maedeh Asgharpour, Travis Fowler, Anna Fritzel, Nitashia Johnson, Jennise Streaty, and Heather Valcik.
The artworks by each of the seven artists are uniquely different, exposing the audience to fresh budding talents in the early days of their independent visions. All the works share bursts of energy, vibrant color, and a storytelling aspect.
The exhibition will remain on display through May 22.
