Sylvan Avenue will be transformed into the biggest block party of the summer when Slide the City arrives. Last summer over 1,000 sliders slipped and splashed down the giant water slide. Event organizers expect 2016 to be bigger and better than ever.
Families, friends and neighbors are invited to take a break from the heat, speeding through three city blocks on inner tubes. This year, event organizers have added a block party to the already incredible slide. The community event will include food, music, local vendors, and street entertainers.
All those over 5 years of age and 46 inches tall are welcome to slide.
