For 25 years, SMU’s Maguire Center for Ethics and Public Responsibility has endeavored to recognize extraordinary men and women of Dallas whose deeds and character are exemplary and whose service to our community is exceptional. In recognition of his bold contributions to the Dallas area and his devotion to public service, SMU’s Cary M. Maguire Center for Ethics & Public Responsibility will recognize Peter Brodsky with the 2023 J. Erik Jonsson Ethics Award.
Brodsky’s name has been synonymous with innovative and impactful servant leadership in the City of Dallas for over a decade. He is a community advocate and developer, with a passion for solving critical community issues such as education, homelessness and economic opportunity in underserved areas of Dallas.
