SMU’s Meadows School of the Arts will present The Seven​. Hip-hop, doo-wop, 1970s funk, gospel, the blues and R&B combine in this reworking by Meadows Artist-in-Residence Will Power of Aeschylus’s Seven Against Thebes. Set in today’s urban America and directed by guest artist Tre Garrett, The Seven follows the struggles of the sons of Oedipus as they vie for the throne of Thebes.
