St. Matthew’s Cathedral Arts will present the opening reception of Painting God’s House: The Folk Baroque Churches of Mexico, a free exhibition of photographs by Carolyn Brown. Brown and writer/illustrator Richard Perry, long time observers of Mexico, its arts and folk customs, have combined their talents to bring this pageant to life in a unique photographic exhibit that focuses on selected church fronts from regions across Mexico.
The exhibit will be on display from September 8 through October 13.
