Dallas-area run/walk enthusiasts will put their feet to the pavement for the inaugural Step Beyond Celiac Dallas 5K. The event aims to raise funds to advance celiac disease research. The event benefits Beyond Celiac, whose mission is to advance research to find treatment options and, eventually, a cure for celiac disease, a serious genetic autoimmune disease.
Step Beyond Celiac Dallas 5K is a fun run/walk event for the entire family. The course will take runners and walkers throughout the trails of Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve.
All participants receive a commemorative t-shirt (if registered by September 15) and gluten-free goody bag. Prizes will be awarded to the overall male and overall female winners as well as to top finishers in multiple age brackets.
