Chefs Stephan Pyles and Vijay Sadhu will pay homage to former downtown Dallas restaurant Samar by Stephan Pyles with a one-night-only pop-up at Stephan Pyles Flora Street Café. Flora Street Café will be transformed into Chef Pyles’ celebrated “Silk Road-Spice Route”-inspired restaurant featuring a four-course menu with optional wine pairings, belly dancers, and an appearance by former Executive Chef of Samar Vijay Sadhu, one of the recent victors on Beat Bobby Flay.

Samar was inspired by a collection of flavors Pyles acquired from his travels to Spain, Morocco, Turkey, Greece, Lebanon and India. It was named “Best New Restaurant 2009” and received a four star review from the Dallas Morning News, was nominated for a 2010 James Beard Award for “Best New Restaurant in America,” and was named one of the “Best New Restaurants 2010” by Esquire Magazine and Texas Monthly.
