Stomping Ground Comedy debuts their second sketch revue, Consume as Directed. For this revue, the theater has partnered with local production and entertainment company Cinderblock to produce four filmed pieces and two additional vocal studio recordings.
The revue, which will run for a three-show engagement, sets a new bar for local sketch comedy productions, combining live performance, local professional actors, and professionally produced sketch and vocal recordings.
Consume as Directed is a dark comedy that explores complex subjects like capitalism, profiteering, consumerism, mortality, and moral depravity. The cast will delve into subjects such as 9/11 and the gun debate as they show why America might just be the land of the free and the home of the depraved.
