Sun to Moon Gallery presents Emerson, Muir, Thoreau: A Photographic Trilogy of American Wildness artist reception

eventdetail

Dallas-based photographer and author Scot Miller’s new Collector’s Edition book by Levenger Press, Emerson, Muir, Thoreau:A Photographic Trilogy of American Wildness, pairs 69 stunning photographs of America in the wild, from Maine to California and points in between, with passages from Ralph Waldo Emerson’s Nature, Henry David Thoreau’s Walking, and John Muir’s The American Forests.

Texas is well represented in the book, with images from the Texas Hill County, the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park (LBJ Ranch - where Miller is Artist-in-Park) and Caddo Lake. There is also an image in the book from the Great Trinity Forest in Dallas, a fact that Miller is proud of.

Miller will be at Sun to Moon Gallery for an artist reception and book signing.
