Sun to Moon Gallery will present the new exhibition, A Photographic Adventure in Thoreau’s Maine Woods by Scot Miller, featuring large-format fine color prints from the new book plus “favorite” prints from Scot’s two previous illustrated Thoreau books, Walden and Cape Cod. Additionally, for the first time since their “Camera to Canvas II” collaborative exhibition in 2006, brothers Scot and JD Miller collaborate again.  JD, represented locally by Samuel Lynne Galleries, has created a large, one-of-a-kind 3-D oil painting of his interpretation of Scot’s “Color Burst, Maine Woods,” a Collector’s Limited Edition Archival Pigment Print Scot produced to help raise funds for his efforts on behalf of the creation of a new national park in the Maine Woods. The stunning photograph is featured on the cover of the new book. JD’s oil painting will be on display at Sun to Moon Gallery throughout the exhibition, and for sale, with partial proceeds benefiting Scot's national park efforts.

The exhibit will be on display from October 17 through November 30.
