It’s not the holiday season in Texas without tamales. Learn how to make them yourself at Sur La Table’s Tamales 101 beginning at 2 pm. Students start with the basics like working with fresh masa, creating fillings and sauces and wrapping the tamales. Tamale types include shredded pork tamales with green mole sauce as well as cotija cheese, corn and poblano tamales with pasilla sauce. Spots are $48.96 and can be purchased online.
