The Women of Purpose concert will be held during MegaFest, a bi-annual, family-oriented, multi-day festival bringing together Bishop Jakes' most popular events, including ManPower, Woman Thou Art Loosed, MegaKidz and MegaYouth. Babyface, Mary Mary, Kim Burrell, JOE, Holly Robinson Peete, Tisha Campbell Martin and Jennifer Hudson are among the musicians scheduled to perform.

A portion of the proceeds will be going to three pre-selected families who are currently affected by autism and also to Autism Speaks, the leading autism science and advocacy organization. Autism Speaks is dedicated to raising public awareness about autism and its effects on individuals, families, and society: and works to bring hope to all who deal with the hardships of this disorder.
