Teatro Dallas' 22nd International Theatre Festival will take place over three weeks, featuring three separate productions.

Schedule of events

  • February 7: Spectrum presented by ASTA - Teatro e Outra Artes. Spectrum is a sensory experience that transcends the limits of traditional theatre. In this immersive creation, the audience is invited to dive into a post-reality where the human body interacts with technology, video, projection, and electronic music. Blending the real and the virtual, the performance offers a deep reflection on the impact of technology on our perception of reality evoking a modern allegory of Plato’s cave.
  • February 14: Strategic Love Play presented by Purāna Productions. In a world ruled by dating apps, swipes, and curated profiles, Strategic Love Play dives headfirst into the messy, awkward, and painfully honest landscape of modern romance. Based on the book by Miriam Battye and directed by Dhruv Iyengar, this sharp and provocative play strips away the digital gloss to reveal what we’re truly searching for - connection, validation, and something real in an era that promises infinite options.
  • February 21: Potestad presented by Hugo Kogan. Potestad, written by Eduardo Pavlovsky, is a haunting and deeply unsettling solo play that confronts one of the darkest episodes in Argentina’s history: the systematic kidnapping of children during the military dictatorship. In this intense and complex performance, Kogan embodies the fragmented mind of a man who justifies his role within a system of ideological and ethical manipulation.
