Teatro Dallas will present the XXI edition of its International Theater Festival, where groups from Mexico, Argentina and Venezuela will present highly visual works in Spanish with English subtitles, representing current trends in Latin American performance.

Schedule of events

  • February 10: Persona, a multidisciplinary show based on the work of Ingmar Bergman. The performance stimulates the viewer's senses, in a story that explores how the silence of one woman is the silence of all.
  • February 17: La Celestina: Tragicomedia De Lita. Brought to the stage with a clown technique, the voices of the classic work by Fernando de Rojas pass through Lita, who is in a permanent risk of death. The central character must hold, with only her hands, a piece of scenery that has fallen on top of her.
  • February 24: Una Buena Abogada from Venezuelan theater group, Marathon Producciones. The psychological micro-thriller is full of surprises that the viewer is challenged to decipher.
