Teatro Dallas will present its first-ever bilingual New Works festival, Nuevo Mundo. In celebration of the fresh new voices and performance styles blossoming across the global south, Nuevo Mundo features three emerging directors and the plays they have selected for an animated, staged reading series.
Directors include Shyama Nithiananda, Alexandra Hernandez, and Kike Castaneda. The works selected by the directors belong to an extraordinary trio of playwrights ranging from emergent to established.

- Week 2: Saturday, March 11 - LittleLamb written by Bella O’Brien, and directed by Shyama Nithiananda
- Week 3: Saturday, March 18 - Noche Y Niebla written by Jaime Chabaud, and directed by Kike Castañeda (This production is presented in Spanish only)
